EPC's
Every property is required by law to have an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) before it is marketed for sale.
An Energy Assessor will need to visit the property to collect data including:
- Property dimensions
- Type of construction
- Levels of insulation
- Details about the heating system
This normally takes between 45 minutes to an hour and requires only minimal assistance from the homeowner.
The EPC includes an Energy Efficiency Rating and an Environmental Impact Rating, both between 1 and 100, and some recommendations which will reduce its environmental impact and help to lower energy bills.
